Part of Women's Health Week 2025

A friendly and informative session about cancer screening and looking after your health. We'll cover important checks like bowel, breast, and cervical screening - what they are, when to do them and how to make it easier.

Thursday 4th September from 2.30pm

Who is this for?

  • These sessions are open to everyone, with a focus on women over 18

Why Attend?

Many cancers can be treated early - or even prevented - through regular screening. But too often, women put their health last. These sessions will give you clear, simple information about:

  • How breast, bowel, and cervical screening works
  • When you're eligible and how to book
  • Your options, including self-collection for cervical screening
  • All sessions will take place in a private room inside the library so you can feel comfortable asking question and learning more.

You'll leave feeling more confident and aware of your screening choices.

Bookings preferred. Call 1300 374 765 or email nathalia@gvlibraries.com.au
